Meet Katie Fullmer, KCCU's mortgage loan expert, serving members in the Kalamazoo area! Katie has over 10 years of experience in mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, and processing mortgage assumptions, and she is eager put her expertise to work in serving mortgage seekers in the greater Kalamazoo area. Outside of the office, Katie is a devoted mother to her 9-year old son. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, getting involved in the community, and sampling the culinary fare of new restaurants and breweries in our community.

About Becky

KCCU welcomed Becky Schutz to the KCCU mortgage team in August 2023. She is the Mortgage Loan Originator working out of our Richland branch, serving homebuyers of Richland, Delton, Hickory Corners, and Augusta. Becky is committed to helping homebuyers find the right program to purchase their first home or dream home, while guiding them though the entire process, from application to closing table.

Becky is a home loan expert with over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She started her mortgage career as a receptionist and quickly moved through the ranks, holding a variety of mortgage processing and closing roles. She has valuable experience working with mortgage originators, processors, underwriters, and title companies. Becky uses her skills and experience to provide impeccable service to her clients to ensure a hassle-free, smooth loan process.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to help our members with their mortgage financing needs,” states Becky. “Purchasing a home is big deal, and I hope that I can help alleviate some of the stress of that process for our members.”

Prior joining KCCU, Becky served as the Assistant Closing Manager for a national mortgage lender. Her experience gives her a unique perspective and sense of urgency that proves beneficial to the KCCU members she serves.

Becky is a member of the Greater Kalamazoo Area Relators (GKAR) and enjoys networking and building strong relationships with local real estate partners.

Outside of the office, Becky enjoys doting on her beloved German Shepherd, Otto, as well as spending time with friends and family. She loves traveling, being outdoors, hiking and kayaking. Becky is proud to give back to others by being a regular blood donor, and admits, “It feels good to save lives!” She is also a lifetime member of the VFW women’s auxiliary, under her father, who served in Vietnam.

About Jada

Jada Decker joined the KCCU mortgage team in July 2023. She serves one of the fastest growing cities and real estate markets in Michigan including Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Kentwood, Caledonia, and more. She is a proud member of the Greater Regional Alliance of Realtors (GRAR) and brings mortgage experience in post-closing.

Jada is thrilled to guide buyers through the mortgage process, whether they are homeowners looking to expand their portfolio by purchasing investment properties, or first-time homebuyers searching for the perfect first home. Jada says, “Purchasing a home can be stressful sometimes, but it should always be an exciting process. My goal is to ensure that our members understand the process, are confident in their purchase, and feel supported every step of the way.”

Outside of the office, Jada leads an active lifestyle, regularly exercising to improve health, strength, energy, and to mitigate risks from stress and anxiety. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She says, “Family is and always will be so important. Love and support are key to living a happy life.”
